Homeopath Dr. Jill Elliot Now Providing Online Homeopathic Consults For People

Adding a healing force to the world.

Some of you may not know that I took a very roundabout path to build and sustain a successful homeopathic veterinary practice. In my early 40s, I decided to finally live my dream that I’d had since childhood. I had worked in advertising, gone back to school to get a degree in social work. After years working in the advertising field, then going back to finish my college education, then off to Social Work school and working in the social work field for 6 years...I changed my career and worked as a headhunter in a medical agency for seven years placing doctors, dental assistants and social workers in corporate, medical and social work institutions.

Re-inventing myself

After seven years I took a giant leap of faith to re-invent myself again to follow my lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. I applied and was accepted into Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in August,1992. Graduating in 1995. I started working as a conventional veterinarian, but after three years felt frustrated that animals keep returning to the clinic with recurrent problems. There had to be a better way.

That's when I discovered homeopathy

I started by interning one a day a week with a homeopathic veterinarian. To my delight, I saw miracles. Just a few examples: Dogs getting off their seizure medication; my own dog completely cured of his fear of thunderstorms and firecrackers; dogs who were incontinent (leaking urine) completely cured and not needing any conventional medication. I was hooked.

How I Got Hooked on Homeopathy

I enrolled in a course of homeopathy for pets taught by the renowned guru of pet homeopathy, Dr. Richard Pitcarin. I completed all of his courses and started applying my knowledge in my veterinary practice. When I started to see improvement in so many of my animal patients, I was driven to learn more. I found the Orion Post Graduate Course for treating people (not pets) at the Contemporary College of Homeopathy in London, England.

It had monthly classes on weekends. I had to go! I flew to London monthly. I loved this school and it introduced me to even more homeopathic treatment options to use with pets. This course just wet my whistle and I continued to go  deeper into my learning experience
